About The Oven Observatory

The Oven Observatory is run by David 'Baker' Breadsell, an amateur astronomer located in Toowoomba and Dalby, Queensland, Australia. David is currently working on it's occultation observing campaign as well as an amateur project of observing all the Messier objects. In the near future David hopes to start a comet hunting program.

The observatory's name was thought of by Derek Breit, established occultation observer and director of Breit Ideas Observatory.

The Oven Obs currently has a 10" Meade Lightbridge. Pictures of it can be found here.
